2 MCCB or ELCB are used when the inverter is separated from another power source, so please set the
recommended electromechanical contactor (MC) on each inverter as required. In addition, when the coil
of MC or solenoid etc. is set near the inverter, please connect it in parallel with the surge absorber.
*3 Even if the main power supply to the frequency converter is cut off, it is desirable to maintain the
overall alarm signal when the protection functions are operating together. Or, if you want the operation panel to
display, please connect this terminal to the power supply. The frequency converter can operate even if no power input is provided to this terminal.
*4 Typically no connection is required. High power factor power sensing PWMconverter: Use with the RHC
series (hereinafter referred to as PWM converter).
*5 When connecting the direct current reactor (DCR), please remove the shorting bar between terminals P1-P (+) before making the connection.
*6 When the output power of the applicable motor is more than 75 kW, be sure to connect the DC reactor (DCR) as
an option. And, when the power of the power transformer is more than 500 kVA and is more than 10 times the rated power of the
frequency converter, and “there is a semiconductor load” in the same power system, connect the DC reactor (DCR).
