All whole/cross lightning pool drives can implement whole step and cross lightning pool drives, which are selected by the dial of the drive dip switch. Compared with the whole step method, the lightning pool method has the advantages of double high accuracy and less vibration during low-speed operation. Therefore, when applying the whole/lightning pool driver, the lightning pool method is generally used.
